![]() Your crank/no-start isn't a glowplug issue.Įarlier there were bulletins about a couple mechanical items that were suspected in the crank/no-start. ![]() Most likely done by the time the dash is ready to display that they are on. Tech's diagnosis / vin check will result in the updated being applied. Report the crank / no-start to your dealer service adviser. Pushing the button at the end didn't stop the crank cycle. It will crank til it starts or until it 'times out' without starting. The bcm will check whatever things it checks and then send a request to start to the ecm, which will do it's checks, fire the glow plugs if necessary and then send a crank signal to the starter. ![]() The button on the dash or fob will send a signal to the bcm. When you push (you can just bump the button (quickly push and release). ![]() You have the crank / no-start problem that there is an ecm updated (Nov 21) to address. ![]()
